Shipping Policy

SHIPPING FEDEX:

Fedex Shipping takes 4-21 days to arrive if the item is in stock. If not in stock it will take the lead time in the listing plus 4-21 days for delivery. We do not send our packages "signature required". If you would like this option, please let us know in advance when your order is placed. Sometimes, even though we ship signature not required, the FedEx driver has the right to leave a call tag instead of the package if they do not feel comfortable leaving the package. If a call tag is left please follow instructions on how to obtain your package. 

SHIPPING FREIGHT CARRIER:

We ship ALL pieces from HTD and Bassett either Fedex or Freight.

CURBSIDE DELIVERY IS INCLUDED IN PRICING. If you would like for threshold delivery or white glove please contact us and we will give you a shipping estimate. Curbside delivery is not required to bring your package inside or assemble it. LTL service is available to commercial clients and select locations only. This will take 4-30 days to arrive depending on your location. 

RECEIVING YOUR LTL FREIGHT:
Please make sure you have help to bring your crate inside. Your LTL Freight shipment will be secured in a crate with protective packaging, and high-grade straps to help prevent damage during transit.  The shipment will arrive on a semi-truck. The semi-truck will have a lift-gate is instructed to bring the pallet to ground level. Be sure to inspect for damage or shortage with extra scrutiny.

Please note: When you sign the driver’s delivery receipt, you are acknowledging receipt of all products in good order. Before signing the delivery receipt, it is important that you follow the procedures outlined below:

Inspect the boxes and their contents for visible damage. If any damage is suspected open the boxes carefully for further inspection.  If any damage or shortage is discovered, do not sign the delivery receipt and refuse the shipment.
You as the customer have both the right and responsibility to inspect the goods before acceptance.  If the goods arrive damaged and delivery is refused, we will file a claim with the carrier.  All payouts will be dependent on the outcome of the claim. Freight claims can take 60 - 120 days to settle.

 

ADDITIONAL COSTS:
Any additional shipping costs incurred due to negligence or unresponsiveness on the part of the receiver (AKA “Consignee”) will be due to Blowing Rock Home Source prior to delivery. If these costs are not paid, or if the carrier is unable to deliver the shipment for the reasons stated above, your shipment will be returned to us. You will be responsible for all fees incurred including re-consignment and additional transportation charges. 

If you refuse your shipments for any other reason besides damage (Ex. you don't like the cosmetic look)  you will be responsible for any extra charges.

Blowing Rock Home Source gladly provides returns and cancellations.

RECLAIMED WOOD/BARN WOOD/BOAT WOOD DISCLAIMER:
Our Bali Boat Wood, Barn Wood and any reclaimed wood items are very rustic.  They are the real thing and contain holes and cracks and uneven surfaces.  This is not a manufactured plastic/pressboard or new wood product. Customers should expect drastic variations from each piece of material. Any variation or defect is acceptable with reclaimed lumber if the product is structurally stable. These are examples of character marks that can appear in reclaimed lumber: mineral staining, color changes, species changes, weathering, discoloration and staining, holes, rough-sawn, cracking, nail holes, loose knots, tool marks, dents, thickness variations, splitting, and mixed grain patterns.

LIVE EDGE WOOD DISCLAIMER:
Customers should expect drastic variations as each slab is unique. Any variation or defect is acceptable with Live Edge slab material if the product is structurally stable. These are examples of character marks that can appear in reclaimed lumber: mineral staining, color changes, species changes, weathering, discoloration and staining, rough-sawn, cracking, nail holes, loose knots, tool marks, dents, thickness variations, splitting, and mixed grain patterns.  Live edge finished thickness varies with each slab.  If your rough thickness is 3" your finished slab will vary between 2.50" - 3" depending on the material removed to achieve your optimum surface for finishing.  If your rough slab thickness is 2" your finished slab will vary between 1.50" - 2".

IF YOU DO NOT CLAIM YOUR PURCHASE

If you do not claim your purchase including custom orders, stock pieces and ordered-in pieces within 31 days we will possess the order.
